Before washing, gently detangle the hair using a wide-tooth comb, then follow with a detangling comb to remove any remaining knots. Wash with a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, and rinse thoroughly.
To enhance and define the wave pattern, apply a light mousse or foam to damp hair. Using a fine-tooth defining brush, brush the product through the hair in sections to help the curls clump together and create a more defined, polished look. Allow the hair to air dry for best results. For quicker drying, a diffuser can be used on a low heat setting while maintaining curl definition and minimizing frizz.
For longevity, store your wig properly when not in use and avoid excessive heat styling.
